#BikeAndBlether

Following the out-and-out success of the pilot programme, where eight volunteers from across Scotland committed to becoming Mental Wellbeing Champions in their clubs and groups, Scottish Cycling is taking the next step to expand the #BikeAndBlether programme.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to be part of the programme to deliver #BikeAndBlether rides within their club or group to help support people’s mental wellbeing. We know that one in four people suffer from mental wellbeing issues, so it is vitally important that we help to create a welcoming space in our clubs and groups to support those impacted. It is important to note that as a #BikeAndBlether Champion, you are not expected to become a mental health expert but are there to listen and signpost to appropriate places of support to those who need it.

If you are interested in becoming a #BikeAndBlether Champion or would like some more information on the programme please complete the Expression of Interest form at the link below, or contact Julie Harris at julie.harris@scottishcycling.org.uk
